These terms govern the use of this website and the engagement of the translation and interpreting services of Traductions Europe.

Quotes and prices

The prices shown on this site are indicative and do not constitute a firm offer. The final price depends on the length of the document, its legibility, the language combination and the certifications required, and is confirmed in writing in the quote before work begins. No engagement starts until you approve that quote.

Turnaround

Stated turnaround times run from approval of the quote, not from first contact. The final turnaround depends on the number of documents and the certifications required, and is confirmed in the quote itself. If you have an appointment, a call for applications or a deadline, you must state it when requesting the quote.

Scope of certified translation

A certified translation faithfully reproduces the content of the original document examined, and carries the authorized translator's signature and seal together with the corresponding statement of fidelity. Certification attests to the correspondence between the original and the translation; it does not attest to the authenticity, validity or currency of the original document.

Client responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that the document you send us is complete and legible, including seals, signatures and apostille where applicable. You are also responsible for checking, with the authority that will receive the translation, what it requires: prior apostille, consular legalization or specific formats. We can guide you, but the final requirement is set by that authority and not by us.

You also declare that you are entitled to commission the translation of the document you submit.

Rejection by an authority

If an authority rejects a translation because of an error attributable to us, we correct it at no cost. Rejection caused by defects in the original document, by requirements not communicated to us, or by changes in the receiving authority's criteria does not give rise to a refund, without prejudice to our reviewing each case.

Confidentiality

All material received is treated as confidential, in accordance with this site's privacy policy and the duty of confidentiality of authorized translators.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Panama City.
